Hey There
"Thank you for your visit! I am genuinely glad you found your way to this space. This work is for those who care deeply about doing meaningful work, leading with integrity, and staying compassionate while navigating change." - Izabela
About Me
I’m a health system transformation leader, researcher, and builder who works at the intersection of strategy, evidence, leadership, and human experience.
I’ve led and supported large-scale change across healthcare systems — from primary care redesign and data governance, to AI-enabled decision support, to national research and policy initiatives. My work is grounded in a simple belief:
Systems don’t fail because people don’t care.
They fail because complexity isn’t held well.
That’s where I come in.
What I Do
I help organizations navigate complexity without losing their compassion.

That means translating policy into practice, evidence into action, and vision into execution — while keeping people, culture, and ethics at the centre of decision-making.

I’ve worked across:
-
Health authorities and ministries
-
National nonprofits and foundations
-
Academic–clinical partnerships
-
Community-based and cross-sector initiatives
My roles have ranged from executive leadership and system design, to research strategy, evaluation, and change leadership. Across all of them, my focus has been the same: build systems that work in the real world, for real people, under real constraints.
How I Work
My approach blends four things most systems treat separately:

-
Evidence & rigor
I’m trained as a researcher, evaluator, and implementation scientist. I design theory-driven initiatives, build evaluation into the work from the start, and ensure decisions are defensible, fundable, and scalable.

-
Strategic execution
Strategy means nothing without delivery. I work hands-on with leaders and teams to turn ideas into pilots, pilots into scale, and scale into sustained change.

-
Leadership & culture
I pay close attention to how decisions are made, how power shows up, and how people experience change. Burnout, resistance, and fragmentation are signals — not failures.

-
Systems thinking
I see patterns, feedback loops, and unintended consequences quickly. This allows me to intervene at leverage points rather than treating symptoms.
I’m comfortable operating at board, executive, and frontline levels — and translating across them.
What Matters to Me
I care about:

-
Integrity over optics
-
Evidence over hype
-
Courageous leadership over performative change
-
Systems that serve people — not the other way around

I’m especially drawn to work where the stakes are high, the problems are complex, and the solutions require both discipline and imagination.
